With an elevation gain of 3000 feet within the first two mile, this trail is a true test of endurance - but the rewards are spectacular. Halfway up, a stunning view of Echo Lake offers a tranquil spot to pause and soak in the wildness of nature.

As you continue, the breathtaking 360-degree summit vistas make every steep step worthwhile. From the cliffside viewpoint you’ll be treated to panoramic views of Franconia Ridge and Mt. Moosilauke.
