Lake Champlain on Two Wheels - Free
One of my favorite bike trails — and one my husband and I have ridden twice — is the Island Line Trail in Burlington, Vermont.
Starting in the heart of Burlington and stretching north to Colchester, the path is fully paved until you reach the causeway that cuts straight through the middle of Lake Champlain. The Green Mountains rise to the east; the Adirondacks of New York stretch out to the west.
It's a comfortable, easy ride past city parks and beaches. Enough to feel it without overdoing it.

Join me for a scenic ride along Lake Champlain with views of the Adirondack Mountains — one of the most beautiful trails in New England.
Pack a sandwich. There is no shortage of beautiful spots along the route to stop, eat, and just take it all in.
After the ride we'll head into downtown Burlington for dinner together — dinner is on your own.
Interested in making it a full weekend? If there's enough interest, I'll look into an Airbnb.

This one stays with you.
